Streaming Issues

As you may have been hearing (or not hearing), we've been off air often since 23rd November. There's little that can be done at this stage, but I'll keep you posted...hopefully it will be resolved sooner rather than later.

Streams affected:

• Skipping/dropouts on the 128k mp3 stream.
• In severe cases, dropouts on the 32k aacPlus stream.

Update (Tue Dec 02, 2008): Things still ain't good, but we're getting very close to sourcing the problem. Will keep you posted. Apologies.
Update (Fri Dec 05, 2008): Found what the problem is, but it's beyond my control to fix it. The appropriate people have been notified.
Update (Mon Dec 08, 2008): There is a good possibility the problem will be resolved Tue Dec 09, 2008 (AEST).
Update (Tue Dec 09, 2008): The problem is scheduled to be fixed this week.
Update (Mon Dec 15, 2008): Everything has been fine over the last seven days.
Update (Fri Dec 19, 2008): Too many dropouts to keep track of, seeking new provider.
Update (Mon Jan 05, 2009): Streaming is back to normal!

Our mp3 encoding is off air for today (16/02/2009) for the first time this year, but will be back to normal around 7PM AEST. This also means the mp3 Flash Player found on our home page will not work either. Apologies. In the meantime, please use our 32k aac+ stream.
