Keri Hilson is the exciting final addition to be added to the biggest urban festival in the world, Supafest 2011. She joins Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Timbaland, Game, T-Pain, Busta Rhymes, Taio Cruz, Ciara, Fat Joe, New Boyz, Bow Wow, DJ Benny-D plus local artists Israel, Miracle & DJ Nino Brown! Australian urban music fans will be treated to over 9 hours of live music by some of the biggest urban artists in music today!
KERI HILSON’s latest album “No Boys Allowed” encompasses the past two years in Keri’s life as she’s gone from a hit songwriter responsible for hits by Britney Spears, Pussycat Dolls, Mary J Blige and Usher to a Grammy nominated singer with American #1 songs under her own belt. Keri first got the world’s attention as the female vocalist in Timbaland’s hit single “The Way I Are” and went on to release her debut album “In A Perfect World” featuring the hit singles “Turning Me On” featuring Lil Wayne and “Knock You Down” featuring Kanye West & Ne-Yo. Her latest single “Pretty Girl Rock” is at radio now.
LA born rapper and actor GAME single-handedly brought the West Coast back when he burst onto the scene in 2005 with his album, The Documentary, which is considered one of the strongest debut albums in hip hop history. He followed it up with the hugely successful albums “Doctors Advocate” and “L.A.X”. With a massive string of hits under his belt including “Hate It Or Love It”, “How We Do”, “Games Pain”, “Wouldn’t Get Far” and “Let’s Ride”, Game is known for having one of the best and most exciting live shows in hip-hop. Over the last 12 months, Game has released 4 mixtapes, which have created a huge buzz across the world. On January 24th2011, he released the Purp & Patron mixtape hosted by DJ Skee & Funkmaster Flex featuring the biggest names in the business including SnoopDogg, Lil Wayne, Pharrell, Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross and Dr Dre. The mixtape received 1.1 millon downloads in 3 days.
FAT JOE, who is visiting Australia for the first time, is one of the world’s most influential Rap artists. He has sold over 2.5 million albums, while masterminding chart topping hits and discovering hot new artists. He has solidified his preeminent position as one of the few Latino rappers to infiltrate a predominately African-American rap scene and become a major staple in the music industry. He thrives as a multifaceted entertainer not only inmusic, but television and film. In addition to two Grammy nominations, Joe enjoyed major campaign endorsements by Boost Mobile, Bacardi, Latino Film Festival, New Era, Jordan Brands and Marc Ecko. Fat Joe is also broadening his film portfolio most recently appearing in Scary Movie 3 and as the voice of Seymour in Happy Feet. His latest album The Darkside Vol1 was released in 2010.
