ARTIST: SHARAM JEY feat. NIK VALENTINO
TITLE: THE MORE THAT I DO
RADIO/TV SERVICE DATE: 23/8/11
LABEL: ONELOVE RECORDINGS

The More That I Do is the last single from German producer, songwriter & DJ Sharam Jey’s critically acclaimed second full-length artist album: ‘In My Blood.’ The More That I Do sees the uber-talented producer once more collaborate with Australian talent and lead singer of the Los Valentinos (Kistsune, etc, etc) Nik Valentino, for this defining Indie vocal.

The More That I Do follows previous singles from the album - ‘The Things’ with New York’s Tommie Sunshine on vocals, title track to the album and underground smash ‘In My Blood’ (which also featured Nik Valentino on vocals) plus the first single that featured vocals from Princess Superstar, club hit ‘Monday Morning.’

The More That I Do is a catchy affair nestled between heartfelt indie-rock choruses and an extraordinarily warm Germanic electronic groove that takes you by your hand and leads you back to the dancefloor. Having already had everyone from Moby to Mylo to Faithless and Faith No More seek out his genre-class threatening remix skills, Sharam Jey turns the tables and calls in a slick and comprehensive collection of tastemakers for remix duty.

There is King Kong label buddy Kolombo, Tony Senghore from Sweden (Boysnoize, Ed Banger) with a clubbanger version. Rico Tubbs (Cheap Thrills, Atomic Hooligans) gives it the dub-step treatment for the bassbin fans. Belgian stars Shameboy do a more technoid version of the track plus Swiss producers duo Cryptonites are also featured with a perfect peaktime remix already with early radio support from Australia’s no 1 DJs The Aston Shuffle.

The More That I Do may be the closing track off the exciting second artist album, but it is Sharam Jey captured in his very best form yet, ever pushing forward and but by no means a final mark on this successful musical career.
