thought's about playing a country gig?

Unread postby bangers » April 2nd, 2008, 1:12 am

wondering if any adeilaide DJ's have thought about playing in Whyalla [yeh i know why why Whyalla] since the uni bar closed the music [seen?] has been poor had 2 or 3 gigs since, don't know what they were like due to travel [gold cost] and the bloody flu i missed them only one place worth checking out is The New Whyalla [formaly Lord Garowrie Hotel] the underground used to go off in the mid 90's a mate was the DJ at the time as the name say's it underground and its small 300 people maybe more great acustic's though another place is The Westlands Hotel 2500-3000 people but they only have a licence for so many big events every year due to it beening in a resadentual area i know that alot of people would go due to the lack of desent techno music there [have dj's but they only play top 40 radio crap mostly] i have'nt been to a good night out since 92-93 when we were going to Adeilaide every couple of days [thats when this long-haired hippy got lost on the dancefloor][dont think he's back LOL] so it would be good if someone could come down and shake the town up. !!! Cant travel to far these day's because of family[kid's] babysitters only over night so Adeilaide is sort of out of the question these day's if anyone is intrested i could get a pitition going but i'd need to know what style's would be playing ect well it's worth a try. Bangers out.
